Alyssa Albarillo

Alyssa is a paediatric Occupational Therapist who has been supporting children and families since 2018. She has a strong passion for early intervention and believes that children learn best through play and within their everyday environments — whether that’s at home early learning setting or community

Alyssa takes a family-centred and strengths-based approach to therapy. She is passionate about empowering families, building their capacity, and supporting each child to grow in confidence, independence, and participation in the activities that matter most to them.

She has experience supporting children with fine motor development, gross motor skills, self-care skills and sensory regulation. Alyssa is also trained in the Handwriting Without Tears® program and enjoys helping children build the foundational skills needed for handwriting and school readiness.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys exploring new cafés and trying new food.
